Congratulations!!! You have been approved to participate in the 4th Annual Rocky Hill Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 2, 2017.

The following information is essential to a successful parade:

Please arrive no later than 4:40 pm in the parking lot at Rocky Hill Ball Park on Alki Lane. We ask that you check in immediately upon arrival at the Parade & Volunteer Table at the ball park entrace. We will confirm your arrival and walk you to your staging area.

Attached please find a map of the Parade Route; we will step off at 5:55 PM from Rocky Hill Ball Park and proceed southbound on Morrell Road until we reach Northshore Drive. The Parade will head East (turn left) onto Northshore Drive and march past The Rocky Hill Shopping Center and end at Rocky Hill Baptist Church on the left.

Pick up for participants, helpers and people associated with the parade will be at Rocky Hill Baptist Church. However parking is limited and we must keep the parking lot free of vehicles since all floats, bands, marchers, etc. will ultimately be in that lot.

We ask that every unit in the Parade attempt to “light” your entry and play music using battery power, or generator. The key to a successful evening parade is LIGHTS and MUSIC.

We request that any units involving children have enough adult supervision to insure the safety and enjoyment for each participant.

If your unit dances, sings, or performs in any way; we ask that you do your primary performance in front of the Rocky Hill Shopping Center for our largest gathering of spectators. This insures we do not create “gaps” in the parade. Proper parade pace is immediately behind the unit in front of you NOT immediately ahead of the unit behind you!!!
